Drawing upon our deep knowledge of the region and mission, we offer themes that will engage participants in meaningful and growth-provoking learning experiences and reflection. Our tours provide participants with the opportunity to meet and interact with peoples and issues they would not otherwise be able to access.

Expertise of our Guides: Jade Journeys expert guides are carefully selected individuals who have in-depth knowledge about the journey theme and work at the intersection of Western academic disciplines and sacred traditions and practices. Many have doctorates, and all have extensive experience in facilitating tours and workshops.

Incorporation of Alternative Perspectives: All Jade Journeys tours and workshops incorporate components that highlight alternative views of life and living. We believe that there is a great need these days to consider alternative worldviews that may be more conducive to creating a more sustainable future for humankind and the planet Earth.

Inclusion of the Sacred: We strive to inculcate a sense of the sacred in our tours and workshops. We define sacred in the broadest sense, as meaning worthy of reverence or respect. Thus, the sites we visit, the people we interact with, and the activities we undertake can all be viewed as sacred, as are the tour participants themselves. Many Jade Journey tours and workshops incorporate activities that promote engagement with the non-physical realms. This inclusion of the sacred does not mean that Jade Journeys tours are dogmatic and/or proselytizing in any way and people of all types of beliefs should feel comfortable participating in our journeys.

Promoting Globally-Responsible Tourism: Jade Journeys endeavors to create a better world through our travel practices and outcomes. We use local resources and services when feasible and strive to be sustainable in our practices.
