Undertake a transformative encounter with the sacred spirits, mystical energies, and animal guides of Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will be guided beyond the surface on a true voyage of both external and internal dimensions that will enable you to grasp more fully the power of these world renowned sites as well as their significance in your own personal life. This journey is more than an excursion to these famed archeological sites; it is also an in-depth personal experience in which you will be guided to sense and process the transformative energies of these sacred places.
The condor, puma and serpent motifs - and animal guides in general - will be a key theme throughout this journey. The Inca and other Andean Indian groups felt a deep connection with the condor, puma and serpent, and used them for veneration as well as architectural and artistic themes. The serpent represented the underworld and/or death; the puma the level of human existence; and the condor the celestial plane and the gods.
During the journey, participants will learn to assess the energies of the serpent, puma and condor, and will be guided in integrating these energies more fully into their personal being and lives. Participants will also learn more about their own animal guides, which will be revealed via the activities and experiences facilitated during the tour. This process can be empowering, helping reveal more clearly life purposes and processes.
Journey Guide: Gina Nanetti, is a gifted healer and counselor who has led groups to sacred sites in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru for fifteen years. Gina is Bolivian and was born with psychic abilities. She has learned from numerous shamans, the most important being an indigenous Bolivian woman. Gina is also trained as a transpersonal psychotherapist. She currently resides in Santiago, Chile, where she has an active practice in personal and group counseling. Her tours have been featured in leading travel magazines and the press throughout South America, and Jade Journeys is honored that she has agreed to lead her first tour for English-speaking North Americans with us.
