This day is the 13th day Ahau of the Tzolkin calendar. It represents the end of one cycle to prepare to enter a new one. It is a day to go within and encounter our own internal light.
7:00 am: Optional: Crystal meditation (Skye Stephenson)
10-12 am: Introduction to the Mayan sacred calendars and sites (Skye Stephenson)
Lunch and afternoon free to explore Merida
4 pm: Opening ceremony with Mayan priest Don Idelfonso
5 pm: "The energies for this New Year 4 Kan (seed)", Ahaukin Oxkin
7 pm: Meditation led by Ahaukin Oxkin
Thursday, July 23:
This day is the first day of the Tzolkin calendar, known as 1 Imix. It is a day to nourish ourselves; it is a day of new birth. We will begin with a bath in the crystal waters of a cenote, to purify ourselves in the interior of Mother Earth. We will then visit Uxmal, a center of the planetary power of feminine energy, a place to connect ourselves in meditation to the heart of Mother Earth. We will also connect with the energy of the Great Teacher Kinich Ahau, who is the guardian of this ceremonial center, and is connected with the energy of Father Sun.
7:00 am: Optional: Crystal meditation (Skye Stephenson)
9:00 am: Leave for cenote of Chocholá for a ritual bath
11:00 am: Leave for the ceremonial center of Uxmal
1:00 pm: Meditation for the beginning of the Tzolkin
2:30 pm: Lunch in Uxmal
3:30 pm: Free time to visit Uxmal
5:30 pm: Return to Mérida
Friday, July 24:
This day is 2 Ik (2 Wind). We will visit Mayapán, place where our spirit communicates and the energies of the south and the north, of the eagle and the condor, are united.
7:00 am: Optional: Crystal meditation (Skye Stephenson)
9:00 am: Leave for the ceremonial center of Mayapán
10:30 am: Visit and ceremony to the four directions in Mayapán
2 pm: Departure to the Hacienda of Tepich, with lunch on own at hacienda
5 pm: Return to Mérida
Saturday, July 25:
The day 3 Akbal (3 Night) is known as the day "beyond time". It is the last day of the Mayan Haab year 3 Cauac (Storm). It is the day of universal pardon, the day to go into our own interior and bring out the best of ourselves. We will celebrate in Ek Balam, a site where the Beings of Light make themselves present in the Maya world. Here we will do a ceremony of abundance and happiness, focusing on our intentions for the New Year.
Transfer to hotel in Valladolid Quinta Regia:
11:00 am: Ceremony, meditation and visit to Ek Balam
2:00 pm: Departure from Ek Balam and bathe in cenote Sac in Valladolid
5:00 pm: Remainder of afternoon and evening free in Valladolid
Sunday, July 26:
The day of the New Year 4 Kan (Seed) will begin in the cenote Xcecen, where the pure waters will help our wishes and intentions for the New Year begin to germinate. We will go to the ceremonial center of Chichén Itzá, a site where the energies of heaven and earth are balanced. We will make a circle to send from this energetic point on the planet our positive intentions to the four directions of the universe so that they will be manifested in the year of the seed.
Transfer to hotel in Mérida
8:00 am: Departure to Cenote of Xcecen (natural wonder) for ritual bath
10:00 am: Leave for Chichén Itzá
11:00 am: Visit Chichén Itzá and group meditation for Mayan New Year 4 Kan.
2:00 pm: Lunch in Piste
3:30 pm: Free time in Chichén Itzá
5:30 pm: Return to Mérida
